Yoga is a traditional practice from India encompassing awareness in breath, meditation, physical postures, and spiritual liberation.

We offer Hatha and Vinyasa style Yoga. Movements are done with awareness of body and breath to provide safety from injury and to open us up to the possibilities of dexterity so that we develop self in movement. Awareness of breath assists us to find more energy, more grace, and more balance in our movements and bring us to homeostasis (“balance”). To get started today, check out the current class schedule.

YOGA CLASS
You should bring comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in, get changed, and settle into class.

Most of the class time you will be moving your body through a variety of interesting and challenging positions that help you unfold your body and build suppleness and dexterity from awareness. As you continue to practice, the positions will become familiar and you will discover new challenges to keep you engaged in the journey. Class ends with a restorative pose and moment of meditation. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes and also offer private yoga sessions.

YOUR TRAINING SCHEDULE
Classes are very affordable at Sal Anthony's. We encourage students to come several times per week to deepen their experience and see changes in their bodies. See our Rates page for great prices and packages, and the Class Schedule for times and levels.

We also recommend supplementing your Yoga training with Pilates private instruction or Pilates Mat Classes. Pilates is a powerful system of core strengthening that complements the opening of the body that you experience with Yoga practice. See our Pilates page for more information.
